1. Acceptance

By browsing or creating an account on omdabazar.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Account creation also requires acceptance of the current privacy and cookie notices. You are responsible for keeping your password and any two-factor authentication codes confidential, and for telling us promptly about any unauthorised use of your account.

2. What this site is right now

• Listing status matters. Supplier, product, price, stock, review, verification, and order information is supplied by businesses or recorded by platform staff. A LISTED record is directory information and is not document-verified; ASSESSED/VERIFIED records are governed by the evidence shown on their profile. Listings are not binding offers until buyer and supplier approve written terms.
• No payment is processed by OmdaBazar. RFQs, quotes, direct orders, samples, shipping, and payment terms are agreed between the buyer and supplier. OmdaBazar does not hold merchandise funds, provide escrow, or guarantee delivery.
• Third-party brands are illustrative. References to brands such as Alokozay, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Tecno and Vivo identify the kinds of products listed on the marketplace. No affiliation, partnership or endorsement is implied, and no branded listing should be read as authorised supply from those companies. Brand names belong to their respective owners.
• Photos are representative. Product and facility images are freely licensed reference photographs (see image credits), not photos of actual lots or premises.

3. Acceptable use

You may explore, evaluate and share links to this marketplace freely. You may not:

• scrape, republish or resell the site's data or design as your own catalogue or marketplace;
• misrepresent quotes, matches, verification badges, or listing information as a guaranteed commercial record;
• attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting;
• use the site in violation of applicable law.

4. No professional advice; no reliance

Nothing on omdabazar.com — including verification tiers, origin records, indicative quote ladders and performance statistics — is a warranty, certification, escrow arrangement, payment guarantee or advice. In the production platform, a 🛡️ Verified badge will mean what its record states: identity, site and capacity assessed on a given date — not a per-shipment quality guarantee. Always conduct your own due diligence before any real transaction.

5. How the production marketplace will transact

When live, OmdaBazar's model is deliberately limited, and these terms will govern it:

• Written specifications. Orders proceed only on a written order specification approved by both buyer and supplier. That document — not site listings — forms the commercial agreement between the parties.
• OmdaBazar is a facilitator, not a party. OmdaBazar assists matching, documentation and follow-up, and earns a service fee. The contract of sale exists between buyer and supplier alone.
• Funds settle buyer ↔ supplier directly. The platform holds merchandise funds in neither prototype nor production model — there is no escrow, no buyer credit, and no payment processing by OmdaBazar. Never transfer funds to "OmdaBazar" for merchandise.
• Quotes have validity windows. Indicative quotes lapse on the stated date; binding prices exist only inside an approved order specification.
• Inspection window. The standard flow includes a 3-day documented inspection window at receipt, with OmdaBazar assisting documented dispute resolution.

6. Supplier obligations (when onboarding opens)

Suppliers joining the production platform will agree to: truthful listings with accurate origin claims and evidence; honouring published MOQs, tiers and lead times or renegotiating in writing; maintaining the licence and permits their sector requires (including Ministry of Health licensing for pharmaceutical listings); cooperation with verification and annual re-checks; and prompt, documented handling of claims. Misrepresentation is grounds for delisting.

7. Featured and advertising placements

As the marketplace develops, suppliers may pay for featured placement, banners or priority positions. Every paid placement is labelled so it can be distinguished from organic results, and paying never buys a verification badge, a better status, or inclusion in search results. Advertisements are the advertiser's responsibility; OmdaBazar does not endorse the goods or claims in them.

8. Intellectual property

The OmdaBazar name, design and original content are the property of their creator and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Product and facility photographs are used under free licences as credited on the image credits page; those photographs remain subject to their respective licences. All third-party brand names and marks remain the property of their owners.

9. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site's creator is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, reliance on listing or marketplace content, or unavailability of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the site operator's establishment; any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
